Two people are dead and another two have been injured after an incident that happened recently on an Oregon roadway. The dead and injured were involved in a car accident on Highway 101 in Warrenton. Police are investigating to learn the exact details of the tragic crash.

Early reports suggest that the two vehicles involved in the crash were on the roadway on a weekend evening. One of the drivers apparently veered into oncoming traffic. He smashed into a small car in the on-coming lane, killing the passenger inside.

The official investigation being conducted by Oregon authorities will likely seek to speak with survivors of the car accident as they determine just why the driver came into the oncoming lanes. In addition, it is common in cases such as this one for authorities to review all available physical evidence. The information gathered can assist investigators in determining if criminal charges are filed as well as helping victims seeking documentation for a potential personal injury claim.

Oregon personal injury laws are intended to help those who have suffered in a car accident caused by another party's negligence to recover from their financial losses. In cases where a victim dies, a claim can be made by their survivors against the driver who is deemed to have caused the wrongful death. Claims can include damages like the cost of recovery for victims who survived a crash or the economic losses for families that have lost a loved one in a car accident. In each case, victims and their survivors are able to seek compensation for the suffering that they endured due to the negligent actions of another person.

Details are few in early reports of a crash that left one important Oregon legislator in a Portland hospital in need of medical care. The car accident sent her to OHSU only days after the legislator had been on a tour of the state, holding hearings regarding a state budget proposal. The crash happened on a weekday morning near her home in Scappoose.

Betsy Johnson sits on three of the most powerful budget committees in the Oregon legislature. Without her, state lawmakers may find that they require the vote of a member of the opposing party in order to pass bills that are nearing completion in Salem. However, it is unlikely that Johnson will return to work quickly after her pelvis was fractured in the car accident, as it requires surgery to repair.

The car accident that caused the pelvic injury happened when she was driving back to Salem from her home. It is unclear what caused her to come into contact with another vehicle. It is known, however, that she exited her car in an attempt to help the driver in the other vehicle involved in the incident. This, a report indicates, is when she discovered that she had injured her pelvis.

Officials are likely investigating this car accident. As they do, they will seek information not only from those involved but also from anyone who may have witnessed the incident. In such cases, Oregon officials may determine that one of the drivers was at fault for causing injuries. If this is the case, those who are victims may find that they are able to make a claim against the driver deemed to be at fault under our personal injury laws. To determine the availability of such a claim, a victim may so well to look to the available evidence and the applicable laws and claims procedures.

A woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries after a crash that happened recently on an Oregon roadway. The car accident took place on weekend morning in Yamhill County on Oregon 47. Now, local officials are working to determine the exact details of the crash.

Early reports indicate that, at the time of the incident, a car was stopped on the roadway waiting to make a left turn. The vehicle driven by the driver who is thought to be at fault failed to stop in time as he approached the halted car. His efforts to stop his car caused him to lose control.

He veered into the on-coming lane, striking another car. The driver of that car suffered injury that resulted in her transport to a local hospital. The degree of severity of her injuries was unclear, though they were thought to be non-life threatening.

The driver of the vehicle that caused the car accident now faces potential criminal charges. In addition, he may find that he is liable under Oregon personal injury laws for the damages caused by his actions. This liability could include a claim from the injured victim for the costs associated with the crash. Though not every accident case leads to such a claim, in many instances, those that suffer due to the actions or negligence of another driver find that they have significant financial costs that must be paid by those who caused the damage. Personal injury laws are made to help such individuals.

A man says that he was trying to help after witnessing a car accident on an Oregon highway. The man stopped to see if he could help the accident victims. When he spoke to one person at the scene, he was physically attacked. The good Samaritan suffered personal injury that included a bleeding cheek and a black eye.

The incident began in Oregon City after a car accident. When the witness stopped, he stated to a victim which of the drivers he thought had caused the crash. That person reportedly became enraged and attacked the witness.

The man told officials that he was fearful that he would be killed in the incident. The man who caused the injury to the witness apparently not only hit him but also pushed him to the ground and put the man in a headlock. The victim was saved by firefighters who arrived at the scene after the car accident.

Now, the man at the center of this personal injury case faces not only traffic related charges for hitting the car involved in the crash, but also potential criminal and personal injury liability for the claimed attack on the witness. The personal injury liability could come under our state's laws and could offer the injured victim an opportunity to recover for some of the financial damage caused by the man that he claims attacked him. His claims could include lost wages, pain and suffering and the costs associated with the necessary medical care that he received after the incident. Personal injury claims are not limited to car accidents and can result when the evidence suggests that an injury was caused by the negligent or intentional conduct of another.

A horrific crash led to the death of one Oregon teen and injury to others recently. The boy, who had told his mother that he was camping for spring break, was a passenger in an SUV when the tragedy happened. Now, local officials are working to learn the exact details of the car accident.

According to early indications, at least seven teenagers were in the SUV when the car accident occurred. The group had apparently been drinking beers just prior to deciding to get into the vehicle to find a place to 'go wheeling.' Their efforts to find snow led them onto a windy part of a remote roadway.

At the time of the single car accident, police believe that the vehicle was travelling about 70 mph. This speed appears to have led the 19-year-old driver to lose control of the SUV. The crash caused the victims to be thrown from the vehicle. In addition to the dead teenager, five others were injured, including the driver.

Now, the victims and the surviving family of the deceased boy are left to struggle with the consequences of the car accident. As they do, they may elect to make a claim against the driver under the umbrella of Oregon's personal injury laws. Such a claim could include one for the suffering of the victims and for the economic costs and other damages sustained. To determine if such a claim is available, victims and the family of the deceased boy may wish to assess their right to proceed after reviewing the applicable laws as they apply to car accident cases such as this one.

Oregon officials are working to determine the exact details of a car accident that happened on Easter Sunday. Though details were few shortly after the crash, it is clear that the crash resulted in personal injury to several people, though specifics as to the degree of injury have yet to be published. Now, those who have been injured may find that they are able to make a claim against the driver or drivers deemed to be at fault under our state's laws.

The personal injury laws of Oregon are available to car accident victims who have suffered as a result of the negligent actions of another. These types of claims typically seek compensation for monetary damages. Some items of potential damages are pain and suffering, lost wages and the cost of medical care. The awards are intended to help those who have been injured to recover, at least financially, from an accident.

In the current car accident case, at least two cars were said to have significant damage. The crash closed a part of Interstate 5 north of Salem. The resulting injuries required as many as 5 emergency response vehicles to respond to the scene to assist injured victims.

Oregon's personal injury laws can come to the assistance of victims of car accidents cases such as this one. As the official investigation continues, police will likely make a determination as to which party or parties were at fault for this incident. Any party so identified may face liability for any actions found to be negligent from injured victims.

Oregon officials are continuing to investigate a tragic incident that happened recently near Salem. A young woman, who was a teacher at a local high school, was killed in a car accident. The incident occurred on Oregon 22 near the Independence Highway junction on a weekday morning.

Police believe that the victim was in vehicle a travelling on the highway when, for reasons that are as yet unclear, a pickup truck crossed into her lane from the on-coming direction. The vehicles smashed into each other as a result of this lane crossover. The pickup also struck another SUV that was on the road.

The teacher died as a result of the injuries that she suffered in the car accident. Another victim, the driver of the SUV that was struck, was injured and taken to a local hospital for medical care. There he was said to have serious injuries, though there was no further report of his updated medical condition.

The surviving victims of this car accident, both the one that survived and the family of the deceased woman, are entitled to make a personal injury or wrongful death claim against the pickup driver who crossed over into their lane. These are intended to assist victims who have suffered as a result of the negligent actions of another party to a collision. Such claims can include those for lost wages, pain and suffering and other damages permitted under the law. The decision as to making the claim may come as the official investigation into the Oregon car accident continues.

The Port of Tacoma in Oregon has seen what may appear to be an inordinate amount of worker deaths over the past few weeks. Not just one but two longshore workers have died in two separate accidents since March 12. Both men were evidently employed by the same company, Pacific Crane Maintenance Co. When fatal work accidents like this occur, surviving family members may discover that they can file for workers' compensation death benefits. It is not yet clear whether that will prove to be the case in these two accidents.

The first took place back on March 12, when a worker carrying out duties on a container crane at Pierce County Terminal was fatally injured. In the more recent incident, few specific details have been released. It was reported that a longshore worker died after the accident, which took place at approximately 8 a.m. on Monday, March 25.

Reports indicate that the man died in what was termed an "industrial accident," although no other specifics were detailed. What is known, however, is that the port will shut down operations for at least 24 hours. This is customary when longshore union workers suffer from a work-related death at Oregon ports. Investigations will be conducted into both the earlier accident, as well as the more recent death.

A workplace death can prove devastating for family members left behind, not just emotionally but also financially. Some may find themselves wondering how they will cover a loved one's final costs, such as funeral expenses. Others may be struggling financially to make ends meet without a loved one's income being contributed. This is one reason that Oregon law provides such surviving relatives the chance to claim workers' compensation death benefits in certain cases. No family should have to struggle to make ends meet while also mourning a loved one's on-the-job death.

Oregon readers will be glad to know that there were no children on board a school bus that was involved in a crash recently on our roadways. The bus versus car accident happened in the early morning hours just as the bus driver was beginning her route to pick up kids for the day. Unfortunately, the kids had to find other ways to get to school the day of the crash.

According to a report from Oregon officials, the bus versus car accident happened as the vehicles traveled along Highway 211. The driver of the car reported that she hit black ice and began to lose control of her vehicle. As she tried to regain control, her car veered into on-coming traffic. That is her vehicle and the bus collided

Both drivers suffered injury in the crash. Now, officials are seeking to determine exactly who was at fault for the unfortunate car accident. As they do, they are likely to review evidence such as the position of the vehicles relative to one another and eyewitness accounts.

Once a determination of fault is made, the driver deemed responsible for the car accident may find that she faces liability claims under our state's personal injury laws. If negligence is established to the satisfaction of a civil court, the other injured party, monetary damages may be available for medical costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering related to the injuries sustained. A successfully litigated claim typically helps injured victims who have suffered not only physically but economically as a result of a car accident.

An Oregon politician was one of the victim's of a crash that happened recently in Portland. The woman, Diane Rosenbaum, is the Senate Majority Leader in the state legislature. She and her friend both suffered injury that required medical treatment after the unfortunate pedestrian accident.

According to a report by Oregon officials, the Majority Leader and her friend were crossing a street in downtown Portland on a weekend evening when the incident occurred. As they crossed the road in the crosswalk, a car turned left into the intersection. The driver of the car did not stop for the pedestrians, striking them in the intersection.

Both women suffered injury in the pedestrian accident. The Majority Leader hit her head on the pavement and suffered a laceration that required stitches from medical personnel. Her companion was said to have two broken bones in her wrist after the incident. Though both victims were injured, they fortunately escaped more severe damage to their persons as a result of the actions f the driver at fault for this crash.

In many cases of a pedestrian accident in our state, the victims who have been injured find that they are able to use personal injury laws to make a claim against the driver who caused the incident. This is particularly true for those who have been severely injured in an accident. Claims that are available include lost wages and pain and suffering. To determine if a victim is able to make such a claim using personal injury law, a full review of the applicable laws may be in order.

A little girl from Oregon has battled cancer of the kidney twice since 2007. This has been a difficult struggle for the 11-year-old. Recently however, her struggles were intensified after she suffered personal injury when she became engulfed in flames in a local hospital room.

According to a recent report, the girl was in the hospital because she fell at school and hit her head. When she lost consciousness, doctors felt that she needed to be medically reviewed. While at the medical facility, the child washed the table attached to her bed with a hand sanitizer.

For reasons that are not entirely clear, the hand sanitizer went ablaze after the child rubbed her alcohol covered hands on her shirt. The child suffered third degree burns on her neck, arms, earlobes and chest. The flames were extinguished when her father came to the rescue and used his body to put out the fire.

This girl has not only suffered a debilitating illness in the form of cancer, but she now must recover from the pain of third degree burns on a large part of her body. The personal injury could have lasting effects, including the continuance of the nightmares that her parents say the incident caused. As she continues to heal from her terrifying ordeal, she and her parents retain the right to pursue a claim for monetary damages under Oregon's personal injury laws. A successfully litigated claim could assist the family with the costs associated with the emotional and physical recovery from this unfortunate tragedy.

The details surrounding a recent Portland car accident remain few as police continue to investigate. However, it is known that one local woman who was a passenger in the involved vehicle was severely injured as a result of the car accident. The incident occurred in the late evening hours on a weekend day.

Portland officials say that the vehicle involved in the car accident contained three people at the time of the incident. For reasons that remain unclear, the car smashed into a tree on Southeast Market Street. The impact caused one of the car's occupants to be ejected from the vehicle. It appears that two other people did not suffer serious injury and were able to remain on the scene to assist in the official investigation.

The woman suffered serious injuries that were described as life-threatening after she was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken to a local medical facility for treatment. There, she will likely begin the recovery process necessary for many victims of car accidents as serious as this one.

In addition to the time necessary for the recovery of her injuries from the car accident, the victim in this case may also find that she faces significant financial costs as a result of the incident. If this is the case, she may be able to use Oregon's personal injury laws to make a claim against the driver of the car in which she was a passenger. Though this is not always available to car accident victims, in some cases where victims suffer serious injuries, a claim may be able to assist in the recovery process.

One Oregon woman is very lucky to be alive after a horrific accident recently. The pedestrian accident involving a tractor-trailer resulted in the young woman sustaining several injuries. Now police are investigating the incident to learn exactly why it occurred.

The pedestrian accident happened as a woman crossed the street in Springfield. It appears from early reports that the woman was struck by a semi while in a crosswalk. The truck driver kept going at the time of the impact, stopping the truck only after being flagged down by witnesses. The truck driver is said to have dragged the victim for up to 50 feet before the woman was able to free herself.

The victim of the pedestrian accident survived. She was transported to a local hospital where she received medical care. According to reports, she suffered a broken leg, a lacerated spleen and a fractured vertebra. She was listed in stable condition after the incident.

The official investigation into the pedestrian accident may find that the truck driver was responsible for the incident. If this is the case, that individual may find that they are liable under Oregon's personal injury laws for the injuries suffered by the pedestrian. This liability includes pain and suffering, in addition to any lost wages resulting from the victim missing work during her recovery. Though not every victim can expect to receive compensation for his or her injuries after an accident, in many cases such as this one, a person who is injured can make use of our personal injury laws as he or she recovers both financially and emotionally.

Though Oregon weather in the winter can be harsh and sometimes creates hazardous driving conditions, police do not believe that it played a part in a recent fatal crash. They do, however, suspect that alleged actions of the driver of a car caused the car accident that claimed the life of one local man. The accident occurred in the early morning hours on a Portland area road.

According to early investigation results, the single car accident occurred as a car traveled eastbound on Division. The car, for reasons that remain unclear, smashed into a telephone pole. The impact led to the death of the passenger in the vehicle.

The driver of the car involved was arrested after the tragic car accident. The charges made against him include traffic and alcohol-related crimes. Further details of the crash will likely become clearer as police complete their inquiry into the incident.

In addition to the criminal charges that he now faces, the driver of the car may also find that he is liable for the death of his passenger under Oregon's personal injury laws. These laws are intended to assist victims of such incidents in recovering financially from the damages they have suffered. In cases where the victim dies as a result of a car accident, their survivors may be able to make claims for their losses such as wage loss and pain and suffering of the victim. Though such a claim is not always available, our state's personal injury laws may offer financial relief to grieving survivors in some cases where drivers appear to have acted negligently.

Oregon's cold, wet winter weather may have contributed to a recent crash that sent four young people to a local hospital. The car accident happened in the early hours of a weekend morning on Highway 206. It ended with one victim pinned under a vehicle. It remains to be seen whether the driver will face any charges in the incident.

Oregon officials report that a car containing four people slid 150 feet down an embankment along the icy highway. It is unclear what led to the car leaving the roadway, though details may become available as a result of an official investigation. Police became aware of the car accident after one victim climbed the embankment and flagged down a passing car.

Three of the four people involved in the crash were taken to a local hospital for medical care. One of the victims was later transported by air ambulance to a larger medical facility due to the severity of her injuries. The degree of injury suffered ranged from minor to severe, according to officials.

In a car accident such as this one, police may find that the actions of the driver caused the incident and the resulting injuries to the passengers in the vehicle. If this is the case, the driver of a car involved in a crash can find that they face liability for their actions under Oregon's personal injury laws. Such laws are intended to assist victims with the costs associated with recovery. Typically, anyone who files a personal injury claim must show evidence that the accident was caused by an act of negligence or recklessness in order to be successful.
